           (Reporter:  Huang Haiyun)  “Currently, the global plant extract market is increasing at the annual speed of 60%, plant extracts will be one of the new increasing point of Guangzhou Pharmaceutical of the ‘11th Five-Year Plan’”, the General Manager of Guangzhou Pharmaceutical Shi Shaobin expressed yesterday, the National Engineering Research Center for the Modernization of Extraction and Separation of TCM which was undertaken by Guangzhou Hanfang Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd passed the acceptance with the investment reaching RMB160 million.

            The Center is one of the “Ten Projects” of Guangdong Province, and is also the only National Engineering Research Center in Chinese traditional medicine extracting and separating field. Currently, the annual processing capacity of the Center reaches 2348 tons of Chinese traditional medicine with the annual output of 40 tons of southernwood series ramifications. The company has been authorized a batch of achievements with independent intellectual properties in the extracting and separating technology of products such as Glossy Ganoderma Spore Oil.
