As a National Project Research Center, provincial medicine key engineering and technology research and development center, industrial enterprise technological innovation center in Guangzhou, TCM engineering & technological innovation center and post-doctoral research station of Guangzhou Pharmaceutical Holdings Limited. The company’s registered capital is 120 million Yuan, with a total investment of 210 million Yuan. It focuses on the development and production of modern TCM, natural extracts, pharmaceutical intermediates, botanical drugs and their preparations and TCM health products.
At present, the company has built 1,800m2 of the nationally first-rank New Drug R&D Laboratories of TCM in line with international practice, 2,800 m2 of laboratory-scale and pilot-scale plants for both new extraction technology and pharmaceutical preparations, and 62,000 m2 of industrial demonstration workshops for modern TCM extraction and separation technologies, and there are 20,000 m2 of the GMP production workshop of crude drugs and preparations to be built. The company is equipped with many advanced apparatuses such as equipments for extraction, separation and finished preparations, gas chromatogram - mass chromatographic analyzer, high performance liquid chromatogram, gas chromatogram, infrared spectrum, ultraviolet spectra, full automatic thin layer scanner and so on.
